You may be wondering “Is Success University really just a Scam?”

This question is raised with many network or Multi Level Marketing Companies. And it should be. If there is one thing we have become as consumers it is this: SKEPTICAL

…especially when it comes to network marketing.

So, before you even consider joining a network marketing business or buying into the “money for nothing for the rest of your life myth” consider this…

Network Marketing is not just similar to a real business, it is a real business.

1. Forget about the money-making for a second, have you tried and do you like the product offering? If you do others will too. In this case we are talking about an ongoing education in “The Principles of Success” taught by best-selling authors, professional speakers and marketers. If you have tried the product and like it. The company may be a good fit. There are literally hundreds if not thousands of Network marketing companies you should be able to find one that fits your personality.
2. How is the compensation plan set up? The latest wave of internet marketing companies offer matrix style downline building. Many new companies like Success University allow you to get paid from your upline, you will need to refer at least one or two people to begin getting paid.
3. Will your upline support and coach you. Generally the support and training in network marketing companies falls short of the effectiveness of a personal mentor. After year of doing business online one thing I’ve discovered is that a mentor that is at a stage in business where you want to be is essential to moving up fast. All opportunities I promote are 100% backed by personal time and masterminding sessions that often go beyond the professional stage and develop into supportive friendships.
4. Don’t ask your family to join. This is a great way to get laughed at in your face. The truth is most people are comfortable and complacent in their current environment and have no desire or belief that they can move up in life and follow their dreams.
5. Use a proven system. Not all marketing is created equal, you should team up with someone who can develop a marketing plan based on your personality. If you don’t like cold calling don’t do it. If you don’t like approaching strangers to tell them about you “amazing” opportunity, don’t do. You want an ambitious team under you that has similar aspiration for living a full life as you do. No business is designed for couch potatoes except maybe a potato chip taste tester.
6. Is the product you get worth more than you pay in membership fees? This is almost never the case. Many times it costs you money just to sell. In the case of Success University you receive education valued at 3-4 times the actual cost of being a member.

If you are looking for a business opportunity that let’s you make money for nothing I’m sorry my friend the truth is they don’t exist because who is going to pay someone to do nothing?
